The G3 Conference is gearing up to kickoff in just a couple of weeks.  If you haven’t registered – it’s going to be difficult at this point to get a seat.  You should register today.  In this sermon, Conrad Mbewe preaches from John 4 on the subject – The Worshipping Church.

Seven Reasons not to Play the Lottery – John Piper writes, “Don’t give your lottery winnings to our ministry. Christ does not build his church on the backs of the poor.”

Letters to the Editor #10 (Sleepovers, Christians, Guns) – Tim Challies does a good job of responding to some of the hot topics.  I’m grateful for his ministry through his blog.  Sometimes people respond well, and at other times they provide poor arguments.  You may want to take time to read through the letters Tim received recently.

Roman Catholic Theology and Practice: An Evangelical Assessment by: Gregg Allison – I’m presently reading this book by Dr. Gregg Allison, and I would recommend it to you – especially if you’re trying to figure out the differences between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism.

Why Do You Object to Gay “Marriage” but Eat Shrimp? – The American public has really been wrestling through the issues of same sex marriage for a while now.  However, just because it’s legal doesn’t mean the difficulties of explaining the facts are removed.  In this sermon, Voddie Baucham addressed an audience of college students and tackles the issue head on while giving practical, logical, biblical answers that lead squarely to the gospel.
