Description
Our family-friendly, flexible curriculum provides weekly basic lesson plans in which beautiful, living books are scheduled into weekly page assignments (see book samples here).
Plans are organized into four rotating cycles covering the full range of world history.
- Cycle 1: 1600–1700 | Ancient Mesopotamia & Egypt
- Cycle 2: 1700–1800 | Ancient Greece & Rome
- Cycle 3: 1800–1900 | Middle Ages
- Cycle 4: 1900–Present | Renaissance & Reformation
Grades 1–12 are all in the same cycle at the same time, however, please note that grades 1–4 (group 1 students) study only one stream of history, the history of their own country (the American history stream in the plans), before moving outward and adding the ancient and British history streams in older grades.
Cycles are divided into age-appropriate groupings:
- Kindergarten
- Group I: Grades 1–4
- Group II: Grades 5–8
- Group III: Grades 9–12
Non-shared work increases in amount and difficulty with each grade.
Basic Curriculum Package:
- One-time purchase of each cycle (4 cycles total, each a separate purchase)
- K-12 complete weekly lesson plans included with each cycle purchase (work is divided up by week and you make your own daily schedule)
- Weekly plans for Ordinary Weeks (30 weeks) and Festival Weeks (6+ weeks)
- Together Time plans (see below)
- All school subjects included (but please check your own state requirements)
- Pre-written exams for each grade
- Book lists for recommended free-time reading for each grade
- Exclusive discounts to publishers and other resources
Together Time Plans:
- Together Time includes homeschool family worship plans with links to resources like piano accompaniments, hymn sheet music, audio files, catechism, creeds, and more
- Together Time also includes one group beauty subject per day on a looped schedule: poetry, art appreciation (picture study), music appreciation (composer study), and Shakespeare
- Art appreciation/picture study will never include images of Christ
- Together Time is designed for grades K-12 primarily as a time of worship, confession, praise, and prayer centered around God’s Word
- Together Time takes approximately 30 minutes
