A true Charlotte Mason style Book of Centuries, patterned after Eve Anderson’s Book of Centuries from Charlotte Mason’s teacher’s college. It is not a timeline. This Book of Centuries contains a two page spread per century starting in the 15th Century BC (with three additional spreads prior, starting at 4000 BC) through the 21st Century AD. The left side of the page is where the student adds people and events that stood out to him, creating a scaffold, like a rope ladder, of the memories he’s built of the past from his reading. The right side contains blank pages for drawing–tracing single objects through history to see how they changed (ships, weapons, clothing, kitchen tools, etc). This will become a treasured object of their school journey and can be used in record keeping as well. For Grades 5-12.
