In this short clip, R.C. Sproul explains what the Word of God says about someone who preaches any other gospel other than the true gospel.  We would do well to hear the wisdom of Sproul on this issue.  Dr. Sproul says, “I’ll give up my relationship to any leader in Christendom over this doctrine.  I’ll split my family over this doctrine. I’ll split the church over this doctrine—this is the gospel.”

The Key to the Christian’s Joy — “Sometimes we struggle to grasp the biblical view of joy because of the way it is defined and described in Western culture today.”

Does John Piper Overplay Bible Literacy? — “Was Piper right to say, ‘You don’t have a chance against the devil unless you know how to read and understand God’s word?'”

Corrie ten Boom’s Early Years of Fruitful Service for Christ — If you don’t know much about Corrie ten Boom (1892-1983), I encourage you to read and discover who she was and how the Lord used her in a wonderful way for his glory in such a dark time in history.

Do the Work of an Evangelist — Steven Lawson writes, “It has been rightly said that the greatest joy is knowing Christ and the second greatest is making Him known. May every pastor enter joyfully into this privileged task of doing the work of an evangelist.”

Consider Your Legacy — Tim Challies points out that our legacy is more than money and other worldly connections.

God Made Man and Woman. PERIOD. Then Back to William Lane Craig and Presuppositionalism — Some good stuff on the Dividing Line with James White.

$5 Friday: Repentance, Providence, Scripture — It’s Friday, so you know what that means—Ligonier has good books for only $5.

12 Pastoral Commitments (Or, How To Pray for Your Pastor) — Kevin DeYoung writes, “I love Paul’s description of pastoral ministry in 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12. I find in these verses 12 commitments I need to make as a pastor.”
