Once upon a time at a Ligonier conference, due to the lighting, R.C. Sproul wore a Duck Dynasty hat (taken from someone in the audience).  Beyond that shocking look—the discussion between Drs. Haykin, Kruger, Sproul, and Nichols is extremely helpful.

Do You Love the Church? — “We’re living in a time of crisis. Many Christians are decrying the decadence of American culture and complaining about the government and its value system. I understand that, but if we want to be concerned for our nation and culture, our priority must be the renewal of the church. We are the light of the world.”

How Do I Fight Pride When Competing in School, Business, and Sports? — “Grading on a curve, competing for a job against others, sports-team tryouts — how do we seek the good of others when they are our rivals?”

The Religion of Moloch Lives, Lizzie Schofield’s Review of G3 Debate, S&K Swings and Misses Yet Again — James White reviews the recent pre-conference debate at the G3 Conference and more.

Can Muslim Converts to Christ Still Use the Name “Allah” for God? — John MacArthur explains why the Allah of Islam is a false god and cannot be used to speak of the one true and living God.

4 Ways Netflix Perpetuates Modern Anxieties — “But for Christians, what’s happening now must always be seen in light of the eternal picture: who God is, what he has done, and what he will do. We ought to resist the temptation to idolize immediacy—whether exacerbated by Netflix or Twitter or BREAKING NEWS. We belong to a bigger picture, an eternal family, a grander narrative. Insofar as we remember this and maintain a broader perspective, the anxieties of our age become a bit less debilitating.”

6 Things That Complementarianism Is Not — “Women & God: Hard Questions, Beautiful Truth, by Kathleen Nielson, is warm, conversational and sympathetic book which  looks at what the Bible really says about women and what it reveals about God’s attitude towards them.”

The Official G3 Live-Show! — Calvinist Batman and Friends: At the 2018 G3 Conference, Jeremy Vuolo and I sat down for an interview with a masked mystery man to talk about discipleship.  You may find this episode helpful.
