Josh Buice

As you may know, R.C. Sproul is known for his book on the holiness of God and his teaching ministry often directed people to that particular subject. Take time to listen to him teach on the holiness and justice of God.

Which Country Sends the [Second] Most Missionaries? — “This is the fourth article in a series penned by Joel Kim, President of Westminster Seminary. In each entry he is reflecting on the Olympics from a Korean-American perspective.”

What Is the Will of God for My Life? — “What does the Bible say about God’s leading? It says that if we acknowledge God in all our ways, He will direct our paths (Prov. 3:5–6).”

Mark 3:1–6: What Grieves God? — “It is not for lack of compassion that men perish, but for lack of a heart that delights in the God of all compassion because of hard and rebellious hearts.”

Please Stop Idolizing Youth Culture in Worship — This is an interesting conversation on an often controversial subject.

Does the evangelical egalitarian spectrum include those who affirm gay marriage? — Denny Burk writes, “Today, I just happened to be reading Sarah Sumner’s essay on ‘Gender’ in Baker’s Evangelical Dictionary of Theology. Sumner has a couple of paragraphs describing the complementarian and egalitarian spectrums. She says that while all complementarians believe that husbands are the leaders of their homes, there are differences among complementarians about the degree to which women may lead in the church. Although I might quibble with some of her description, I think she has basically described the complementarian spectrum correctly.”
