Often times people develop strange methods of listening to the Lord, or at least attempting to listen to the Lord.  Here in this sermon, John MacArthur explains how to listen to the Lord from Mark 4:21-34.

What Andy Stanley Has Forgotten (Richard D. Phillips) – “What Andy Stanley has forgotten is that conversion to Christianity involves a supernatural rebirth that requires the Word of God.”

Sunday Soccer and Small Christianity – “So let’s face the hard question: Comparing our American Christianity today with what we read about in the New Testament, are we Christians?”

France plans ban on pro-life websites – “The French government announced last week that it plans to ban pro-life websites found guilty of ‘deliberately deceiving’ women with the appearance of neutrality.”

The Unlikely Friendship between God’s Sovereignty and Man’s Responsibility – Melissa Kruger writes, “Recently, my Bible plan placed me in two parallel passages (2 Samuel 24 and 1 Chronicles 21). Both accounts tell the story of David’s sinful choice to take a census of the Israelites. As I read, I wrestled again with the notion of divine sovereignty and human responsibility.”

Satan’s Ten Strategies Against You – John Piper writes, “He is our “adversary [who] prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Yet, in the most appalling and unwitting bondage, the whole world willingly “follows the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2).”

NEW RELEASE—John Bunyan and the Grace of Fearing God by Joel R. Beeke & Paul M. Smalley – This is a book that you would likely want to purchase.
